Working in partnership to secure better outcomes for children and young people is one of the key areas identified in the 2020 Children and Young People's Workforce Strategy published in December 2008. The Connexions Service has commissioned the course below in order to support multi-agency working in Wiltshire:
Title: Integrated Interagency Practice (2 Days) Ref No: TG Category: Interagency Working Description: This course will:
Develop an awareness of effective interagency working, roles and responsibilities, common values and ways of working Understand your own practice within the context of interagency working Develop strategies to reduce barriers to integrated practice
The programme will be delivered with a gap between day 1 and day 2 allowing time for participants to carry out an interim task.
This "space" has been built into the programme to allow participants to experience and reflect upon real situations and then to use this within the rest of the programme to develop practical solutions to achieve better integrated practice.
Who the course is for: All staff working within the Children's Workforce.
Dates: 6th & 27th March 2009 Time: 9.30 am - 4.30 Both Days Venue: Sports Club, Devizes Trainer: John Walker

Other Details: CANCELLATION POLICY A course applicant may withdraw without penalty subject to minimum notice of 10 working days. If notice of 10 working days or less is given, there will be a charge of 40. Successful applicants will be sent a confirmation email. Anyone arriving at the training venue who is not on the trainers register without notice will be turned away.
